Those shorts have actually won them producers and they made successful films like Venkatadri Express and Run Raja Run. Let us have a look at those unsung aspiring makers apart from these directors.
Go to youtube and type Telugu short films, there will thousands of lists showing up. Everyday someone or the other from a corner of Andhra or Telangana or from abroad are uploading a short film. But most of them don't have those visual or direction basics, while 99% of them don't have a good script rather some entertaining dialogues and double entendres. Among all these guys, those who upload some short flick with a substance will get attention, not immediately but in some months.
And that has to fall in the eyes of some happening actors or distributors and they should recommend this director to direct a feature film. That will take years altogether. It's not that only genuine talent comes out, but some stroke of luck matters too. On that note, we have to sign off saying that all youtube guys are not successful, but giving a shot is what matters in the end.
