The teaser of mega hero Varun Tej's upcoming movie 'Kanche' was released on the occasion of Independence day and it received lukewarm response. Now sources revealed that Pawan Kalyan personally called Varun after watching the teaser to congratulate him for selecting a good story.
'Kanche' deals with a love story in the backdrop of second world war, a subject that no Telugu film has touched so far. As per reports, the film was shot in Georgia, using the real costumes, weapons and locations of second world war. Action episodes and the sensual love story will be the highlights of this film directed by Krish who has content based films like 'Gamyam', 'Vedam' and 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' to his credit.
Makers are planning to release the film on October 2nd.
