Even after surpassing the unbelievable 500 crore mark worldwide, India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali is still showing its might at the box-office. The film’s Hollywood standard technical finesse has been a big draw for the film and several international media houses featured Baahubali in their publications. With this, buzz intensified back home that Baahubali will surely get an Oscar Award next year.
Reacting to these comments in his usual modest style, Rajamouli laughs off the Oscar buzz and said that he is not at all thinking about getting an Academy Award. In the past, Rajamouli’s creative wonder Eega was shortlisted as Indian contender for Oscar. But with its brand visuals and magnitude, fans hoping for an Oscar is totally justified.
