During the separate Telangana movement, TRS leader and KCR daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha formed a cultural organization named Telangana Jagruthi and extensively propagated the state's culture and traditions and created an own identity for herself among the masses. Through Telangana Jagruthi, Kavitha strives for the welfare of women and the poor.
Now, the Nizamabad MP stepped into film production with 'Life Again'. The film shows the life of a woman affected with cancer. Directed by a real life cancer survivor Hyma Reddy, Life Again features yesteryear's actress and cancer survivor Gauthami, filmmaker Raj Kandukuri and Hyma Reddy in prominent roles.
Kavitha acts as the film's presenter through Telangana Jagruthi's Kuwait and Bahrain wing. The film's trailer was launched today and speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said she is ready to support more such important films and even promised to convince the Chief Minister to award tax exemption to films like Life Again.
