Will Akhil Beat Ram Charan's Record?

If things go well, Ram Charan and Akhil will have a box office clash for this coming Dasara. Charan's Bruce Lee- The Fighter and Akhil's Akhil will release on October 16th and 21st respectively. Though Charan, being an established hero, is expected to dominate Akhil, the Akineni scion has chances to beat one record of the mega hero.

Charan's debut movie Chirutha collected a record share of Rs 3.81 Crore on its opening day. This is highest ever for a debutant and the record is still unbroken for around 8 years. In between, several star debuts happened, but no one could at least go close to the figure. Even, Naga Chaitanya, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej and Rana Daggubati botched to break the record. Producer Bellamkonda Suresh's son Sai Sreenivas's launch pad film Alludui Seenu minted Rs 2.84 crores on first day is second highest grosser.

Now, with huge craze surrounding the project 'Akhil', hero Akhil is likely to create new record. First look stills generated curiosity and teaser releasing today is sure to hike expectations.
