The tremendous response for ‘Kanche’ teaser released two days ago coinciding with date of World War 2 beginning on September 1 is highly appreciated by every section of audience including that of Bollywood and Kollywood. At a time when director Krish and hero Varun Tej are getting rave reviews for their superb output as sensed on the screen, a section of viewers who watched the teaser called ‘Kanche’ as heavily inspired from Hollywood film ‘Dear John.’
Even the first look posters are also said to be almost similar to ‘Dear John.’ Well, some more strong references to quote here about Krish is his ‘Gamyam’ which is again inspired from ‘Motor Cycle Diaries’ and one more novel ‘Prodigal Daughter.’ In another sense, inspiring from classic novels or masterpiece films is not a problem because Krish worked very hard to match the nativity with Telugu audience.
Despite a fact that ‘Kanche’ might get the stamp of copy-cat from intelligent cinema lovers but once the movie hits the screens on October 2, audience are sure to call this as a milestone film in Tollywood, confidently says a source connected to ‘Kanche.’ We need to wait and see; how good Krish connected a Telugu love story to World War 2 episodes.
