SS Rajamouli’s Magnum Opus Bahubali has put him on top of the league with every producer from Tollywood to Bollywood rushing to sign him on. He has become an instant national celebrity and is being mobbed day in and day out.
Well, he is now taking his security very seriously. On Tuesday Rajamouli was invited to grace the trailer launch event of Kanche as the chief guest. He managed to raise quite some eyebrows at the venue when he turned up with bodyguards by his side.
The usually low profile director who is said to have no starry airs surprised everyone when he was accompanied by bouncers to the event.
It isn’t uncommon to find celebrities being escorted with bouncers for security purposes, though some hire them to display their power and wealth.
Nevertheless it looks like T-town’s favourite filmmaker has zoomed into this high profile league post his historic success at the box-office.
Let’s hope Jakkanna continues to enjoy this kind of stardom in the years to come as well.
