Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu, which was released on August 7th collected the decent collections at the box office. This movie collected Rs 154 Crore within 24 days of its release.
Srimanthudu collected about Rs 18 Crore at the worldwide box office in its third week. This Koratala Siva starrer witnessed a 50% dip in its collection in its fourth weekend due to less screens. Srimanthudu smashed the lifetime collection records of all Telugu movies, except Baahubali.
This movie became the second all-time highest Tollywood grosser after Baahubali. Srimanthudu has also become the fourth all-time highest grossing South film after Baahubali, Enthiran and I.
Mahesh Babu is very happy with the response to this movie and it is one of the best movies in his career.
