Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah who is 66 years old was hospitalized after he had some breathing problems. However sources said he was discharged after few hours of treatment. The actor was attending a workshop in IIT.
CP Singh, deputy registrar of administration said, "The doctor checked his chest and did an ECG test to monitor his health. The report was normal. He was then given medicines for allergy and breathing troubles. He was discharged from the hospital after three hours and was taken to the IIT guest house"
Now he is hale and healthy and is attending the workshop in IIT. The actor was last seen in the movie 'Welcome Back' where he shared screen space with John Abraham and Shruti haasan.
The actor also holds Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan awards under his name. The hospital in Kanpur never disclosed the reports of his treatment.
