Handsome Akkineni hero Akhil's debut film Akhil was supposed to release on 22nd October as a Dasara treat for fans. Akkineni fans pinned high expecations on this prestigious debut. But all their dreams of welcoming Akhil in a grand manner were shattered when just a day before Bruce Lee's release, Akhil's producer Nithiin announced that the film has been postponed due to graphics work.
Even Akhil, Nagarjuna, Vinayak, producer Sudhakar Reddy said that the film has been delayed only because of the poor graphic output from the VFX department. But here's a different story. As per the insider's buzz, the makers of Akhil are not satisfied with nearly 50 percent of the film's final output.
Apparently, the film's unit is reshooting several scenes and will continue the patchwork until the time permits. With the graphics work yet to be finished and less time in hand, the unit is now compromising to release the film on 12th November as a Diwali treat.
