Mahesh Babu who is tailor-made for class family entertainers made in commercial format had tried complete mass and action subjects with 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu. Nenokkadine was rejected for complexity in storytelling, wherein Aagadu bombed at box office since the film didn't have convincing content and lack of entertainment is other big reason for the letdown.
Learning lessons from these films, Mahesh Babu has made his mind to do only family loving subjects for some time. His last movie Srimanthudu was not just meant for families or fans, the Koratala Siva directorial was targeted at all the sections. A class film was made in a commercial way and the result was biggest blockbuster in Mahesh's career. Mahesh immediately chose another family subject with Brahmotsavam. The film directed by Srikanth Addala will have all ingredients to please film buffs with varied likings.
Sources close to Mahesh reveal that, Mahesh Babu is asking for class and entertaining subjects from the directors approaching him. Although Mahesh's next with AR Murugadoss is touted to be a message oriented, it will be made engagingly like Murugadoss's recent super hits. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu also gave nod for Trivikram Srinivas for a film that will go on floors sometime next year. No need a specially mention that, another hilarious entertainer is guaranteed in the third collaboration of Mahesh-Trivi!
So, Mahesh Babu is not experimenting at least for 2 years until attaining several smashing hits.
