Writer Vijayendra Prasad, who shot fame all over the country after providing stories for block-buster movies ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is now facing legal trouble from writer and TV producer Mahim Joshi. This TV producer apparently filed a case against the makers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ for violating the copyright law and slapped Rs 50 crore copyright infringement suit.
As per reports, Mahim registered his story long back and when he saw ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, he recognized that the story of the film resembles his own story and screenplay and then filed a complaint. Now following his allegations, the court compared film and Mahim’s script and concluded that there were indeed some similarities.
Now the producers Rockline Venkatesh, Salman Khan, director Kabir Khan and writer Vijayendra Prasad have been asked by the court to submit their replies by 21st of October. Let us see what happens….
