Apparently, the film will again be produced by D V V Entertainments, who is currently producing Ram Charan's Bruce Lee.
"Surender has been finalized to direct the project. We are in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast and crew," D.V.V. Danayya, who has acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film, revealed.
The pre-production work on the remake will start post the release Bruce Lee and Ram Charan reportedly thought this would be a safe bet since he is looking forward to concentrate majorly on his dad's come back film.
It is known that Charan will be venturing in to production with Chiranjeevi's 150 and he is planning to dedicate much of his time to it.
On the other hand, Thani Oruvan which has already grossed over Rs.70 crore in Tamil, is a stylish thriller about the face-off between a righteous policeman and a rich, conniving entrepreneur.
