Three years of long wait will come to an end on 9th October for Gunasekhar. Rudramadevi, his dream project on the Kakatiya warrior queen in 3D, will finally release this Friday. In these three years, Gunasekhar witnessed numerous hardships while making the film and eternally waited several months for the right time to release the film.
But, this brave director is undeterred and he is ready to take up even more hard times in the future. Yesterday, Gunasekhar confirmed in a TV interview that he is planning to make a sequel to the film, Pratapa Rudrudu. Gunasekhar further stated that Pratapa Rudrudu is the last ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty and that Rudramadevi's story will find its ending in Pratapa Rudrudu's story.
Several months ago, there were reports that Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the main lead in Pratapa Rudrudu. The news cropped up when Chiru gave his voiceover to Rudramadevi. However, Gunasekhar has not confirmed any actor's name for Pratapa Rudrudu character.
