As per latest buzz, Venkatesh will play a special cameo in his nephew Naga Chaitanya Akkineni's new film 'Majnu', the official Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster, 'Premam'.
Sources revealed that Naga Chaitanya has specially requested Venky to play the crucial role of Arivazhagan, played by Kannada actor Anant Nag in the original. Venky responded positively to Chaitanya's proposal and an official confirmation could be out once he comes back from his holiday in Ooty.
Meanwhile, the makers of Majnu are in the final stage of casting. Actresses like Shruti Haasan, Disha Patani and few others are under consideration to play the lead heroine. Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame will helm the responsibility of direction.
