Intense speculations were doing rounds that maverick filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas is in contention to direct actor Chiranjeevi in his comeback film as a hero. Ever since the news surfaced on virtual world, fans of Chiranjeevi has started bombarding the director’s social media page with lots of questions pertaining to the project. Sources close to Trivikram have negated the news and claimed that it’s a baseless rumour.
“Trivikram was initially considered for Chiru’s 150th film but the director clearly told the actor that he can’t handle the pressure of directing the milestone film,” quips a close source to the director. Trivikram, who is currently directing Nithiin in A...Aa is in great demand among Tollywood stars.
Actor Nagarjuna has been pressing the director to collaborate with his younger son Akhil in his next film. But, the director is yet to take a call on Nag’s proposal. Those in the know say that Trivikram may team up with Ram Charan for a new movie produced by his friend and actor Pawan Kalyan. “Pawan has requested Trivikram to direct Charan in his production. The talks are in nascent stages,” adds the source.
