Character Artiste Hema isn't going to settle for anything little, be it the roles or pay package. She gives a call to the writers & directors to offer meaty roles for heroines and character artistes. At the same time, She demands a good remuneration for character artistes like her.
The one big complaint Hema have is being typecast as she was mostly seen as Brahmanandam's Wife. She claims to be capable of doing much more and its up to filmmakers to offer her challenging roles.
When asked why Telugu Beauties weren't keen on foraying into Acting, Hema explains films have never been a priority for most of the families in AP & Telangana. She then adds, Education & Marriage were always on their must-do list. Hema also says Skin Show & Lip-Locks were other factors which have been prompting Telugu Girls to stay away from Film Industry.
