Deepika Padukone earlier acted in Rajinikanth‘s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’. But the film was a motion capture movie and Deepika expressed her wish to act in more South Indian films earlier.
It is well-known that Trivikram Srinivas is going to direct Suriya in a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. Buzz is that Trivikram wants Deepika Padukone to play the leading lady in this movie since he also wants to release the movie in Hindi. But she is one of the highest paid actresses in the country and has many films in pipeline. So the makers want to spend a bomb to rope in her for the movie. NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu will produce this huge budgeted film, which will mark Suriya‘s debut in Telugu.
The film may start rolling in February. Trivikram is currently busy with Nithiin – Samantha’s ‘A…Aa’ and the film is expected to be wrapped up by the end of January. We will have to wait and see if Trivikram‘s plans to rope in Bollywood beauty for his next work out or not.
