Netizens began questioning how could she do such a shoot having a traditional/conservative roots.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Shruti Menon defends herself by saying she loved the concept of a bride trying the jewellery on her wedding day and given her nod for the photo shoot. She claims to be having no regrets what-so-ever about posing topless even though she began receiving negative comments.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Interestingly, Shruti Menon feels the mentality of people could be altered if more actresses come forward to pose for such kind of photographs. </div>

Kamal states that Meera herself is completely responsible for the downfall in her career. According to Kamal, Meera Jasmine was extremely rude to the crew members on his sets. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
During the filming of the Dileep starrer Gramaphone, Meera was disrespectful and insulting to the senior technicians, including the National Award winning costume designer SB Satheesh. The actress even went on to the extent of tearing off the costumes made for her, in front of Satheesh. The incident was highly shocking for the whole team. When Kamal scolded her for her behaviour, Meera chose to ignore him. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The team decided to tolerate her, only because of her acting talent. Later, she apologized to SB Satheesh and others for her behaviour; but made it clear that she can't be friendly with everyone. But later Meera behaved normally and even bagged the lead role of his next movie Swapnakoodu. But slowly she started showing her real face. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The actress didn't turn up for shooting at the correct time and made the whole crew wait for hours. Meera troubled the director even during the dubbing sessions; by leaving the studio in the middle. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Kamal finally lashed out and criticized her for being so immature. Meera later started showing her tantrums even to the veteran actors and managed to create issues in the sets of Mohanlal starrer Innathe Chinthavishayam and Mammootty's Ore Kadal. Once, Jagathy Sreekumar had publicly stated that he hates to work with the actress.</div>

The young actress says she is happy that she finally gets to don a different role in her next film, to be directed by Philips and the Monkey Pen fame Shanil Muhammed. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“I play a very bold and modern girl in Shanil’s next. The character is diametrically opposite to Salomi from Mariyam Mukku. The film has Asif Ali and Unni Mukundan in the lead and I’m cast opposite Unni Mukundan. The film will go on floors by December,” says Sana about her second film in a lead role.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Though Sana was about to pair with Unni Mukundan in another film, Ithihasa-fame Binu’s Style, she had to back out of the project due to date issues. Meanwhile, another movie of her’s is up for release. “I have a small role in Aashiq Abu’s Rani Padmini. I’m there in only a small scene, where everyone goes trekking in Himachal Pradesh. But since my father is the film’s producer, I was with the team at the location for a whole month. If not for him, I would have never gone to all those places and would have been too lazy for all those adventures.” </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She explains, “The most amazing part was trekking. It was both difficult and exciting. We trekked our way to some of the villages and interacted with the locals as well. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see any snow as the shoot was in summer. The roads to the villages and the trekking routes get sealed off during the winters and it wouldn’t have been possible to shoot. My only regret is coming back from the shoots so soon because of my exams. And I never got to try paragliding. I had to stay put on the ground and was left to wave Manju chechi and Rima chechi goodbye when they went paragliding,” Sana laughs.</div>

Different actors have played the role originally essayed by Mohan Lal. So has anyone come close to him or outdone him? The results are out, check out.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Among all the remakes clearly the Kannada and Telugu versions are the weakest, followed by the Hindi version. The actors who were part of these films had their moments for sure but none were anywhere near to the original act. Which then leaves us with one and only Kamal Haasan.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Among all the remakes if there is anything that is close to the original in terms of performance then it is the Kamal Haasan version. Incidentally this too was directed by original filmmaker. So he has extracted equally good performances from both the powerhouse talents. Critically it’s a tie, if one were to be strict nut Mohan Lal gets little edge being more subtle in his act.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That’s what we thought after watching all the versions. Which one you think was the best?</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ayaal Njanalla is a comedy entertainer which stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. The movie is scripted and directed by actor turned filmmaker, Vineeth Kumar. Popular director Ranjith pens the story. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mrudula Murali and debutante Divya Pillai essays the female leads opposite Fahadh. Ayaal Njanalla is produced by Dr. TA Sundar Menon, under the banner Sun Ads And Film Productions. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Story:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Prakashan is a young man who hails from Koyilandi, a small town in Kerala. He shifted to Gujarat 15 years back, along with his family and is running a small scale business. Even though he has no connection with Kerala, he still speaks in Koyilandi dialect. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He falls in love with Esha (Mrudula Murali) and she reciprocates. Prakashan falls in huge debt after the unexpected demise of his uncle (TG Ravi). He decides to sell his ancestral property in Kerala and comes to hometown. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After reaching Kerala, Prakashan realises that he resembles a famous actor; while people mistaken him for the actor. The following incidents changes his life and this forms the crux of the story. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cast:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fahadh Faasil stuns the audience with his brilliant performance. He literally steals the show with his flawless acting skills and comic timing. He deserves a special applause for delivering the Koyilandi slang so effortlessly. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mrudula Murali, who plays Esha looks gorgeous onscreen and okay with her performance. Divya Pillai makes a decent debut; but her performance is immature at certain points and she has to work on her acting skills. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The rest of the cast includes TG Ravi, Renji Panicker, Tini Tom, Sijoy Varghese, Noby, Sreekumar, Dinesh Nair, Sreekanth Menon, etc perfectly plays their respective roles. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Story, Screenplay, And Direction:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The story penned by Ranjith is highly interesting and fresh. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Vineeth Kumar makes a promising directorial debut with the movie. The director has managed to keep the movie entertaining from the beginning to climax. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But the movie loses the excitement factor in the second half and lags at certain points. Some particular scenes lack the logic and leave the audience confused. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Technical Aspects:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Shamdat Sainudeen is the director of photography. The visuals are just mindblowing; especially in the song sequences. The cinematographer has managed to create a classy ambiance for the movie. Manoj's editing slightly falls in the second half; but in overall, he has done a neat job. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Songs And Background Score:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Songs and background score are composed by Manu Ramesan. The composer impresses with the fresh rhythmic songs. The soulful background score creates a perfect mood throughout the movie. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Verdict:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A neatly packed entertainer for the season and a perfect treat for the Fahadh Faasil fans.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Reelmonk.com, created by Xincoz Labs, is the brainchild of three 22-year-olds from Kochi -- Blaise Crowly, Vivek Paul and Gautham Vyas -- and is promoted by Konglo Ventures. It aims to bring Malayalam cinema to its users' homes the same day the films release in India.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"We are set to launch on July 20 with 15 movies for users to download including 'Nee-Na' by Lal Jose and 'Njan Steve Lopez' by Rajeev Ravi. An idea that originated over a midnight phone call with a friend is today ready to launch after a long and exciting journey that was full of challenges, setbacks, straight-out crashes and amazing moments to cherish", said Crowly, CEO, Reelmonk.com.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Piracy happens due to non-availability of content. When content is easy to access at a reasonable price, we believe piracy will take a back seat" he added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Paul, COO, Reelmonk.com, shared that a lot of effort and sacrifice goes into creating a movie and it is "shattering when elements such as piracy, lack of releasing platforms and other issues destroy this work".</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"We want to be a platform where all movies can reach viewers with the click of a button. With connected users, our platform enables movie producers to distribute their content in any country they choose on the same day as they release in India," he added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Paul also said that they have a revenue-sharing model with the producers and it is worked out on a 70:30 sharing basis.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Through the dashboard on the page, the producer can find out on a daily basis how many people have downloaded the film. Once it's downloaded into a computer hard-disk, it can be seen any number of times, but cannot be copied to a pen drive. Even if one lakh people download a film, the producer gets a decent sum, which probably he would not have got otherwise," Paul told IANS.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Kerala diaspora is said to be close to 2.5 million and living mostly in the Middle East and Jose, who is releasing "Nee-Na" through Reelmonk.com in the US, Saudi Arabia and other select countries, shared that during his European tour, he met many Malayalis who complained about their inability to watch new Malayalam movies as and when they are released in India.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"They also shared that they were forced to watch pirated versions for want of an option to watch them legally," he added.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Noted director Jayaraj believes that Reelmonk.com will give people "the opportunity to easily access Malayalam movies that they love, especially with features like pay-per-download".</div>

The activists with several Kerala State's Animal Welfare organisations are demanding strict punishment for the star after several Elephant tusks were found in the star's residence in Tiruvananthapuram.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Jayaram reportedly preserved the tusks of his pet Elephant which died a couple of years ago filtering severe illness. Apparently, the Kerala Forest Department had given Jayaram the concerned permission to retain the Elephant tusks. This news of Forest Department's favors to the film star has been unearthed recently.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Naturally, this angered the animal rights activists who have been protesting against the state's biasness towards the star and stated that this will send a wrong message among the normal people. They activists also said that Jayaram is punishable according to the 2003 wildlife declaration stock rule.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unable to control these protests, the first department has suggested them to write a letter to the PM Narendra Modi and sort out the issue. Jayaram is popular among the Telugu audiences for his comic roles in Kamal Haasan's Panchathanthram and Tenali. Jayaram is also the recipient of Padma Shri in 2011.   </div>

After months long talks with Tollywood directors like Puri Jagannadh and Madhura Sreedhar ended up being unfruitful, Sreesanth is finally teaming up with  Sana Yadireddy, who earlier made hit films like Pittala Dora and Bachelors.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A press meet regarding the announcement of the film took place earlier today and the makers said that the film will be shot as a Telugu-Malayalam bilingual. Reports say that the film will also be dubbed into 13 Indian languages, considering the cricketer's craze among the people from other states.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After breaking into the national cricketing scene in late 2000s, Sreesanth represented India in several tests, ODIs and T20s. However, it was in 2013 when Sreesanth was banned for life from playing any form of cricket, following his involvement in the match fixing scandal that shook the 2013 IPL in which he played for Rajasthan Royals.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
According to various reports, Dileep's latest movie "Chandrettan Evideya" has managed to pick up more in the weekend after an impressive start. Kamal Haasan's Tamil movie "Uttama Villain", which faced cancellation of shows on 1 and 2 May (Friday and Saturday) managed to have average collection at the box office.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Meanwhile, Mammootty's "Bhaskar The Rasacal" is continuing its success run by placing itself in the spot in its third weekend.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sources claim that "Bhaskar the Rasacal" made a total gross collection of ₹13.77 crore from 19 days and is still managing to get good theatre occupancy of family crowd.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When it comes to Dileep's "Chandrettan Evideya", the film has reportedly managed to gross ₹1.84 crore in three days.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, things don't look that great for the latest Kamal Haasan movie, "Uttama Villain". The movie has reportedly got average response. It grossed ₹67 lakh from two days, but in terms of business, the numbers don't look favourable as the distribution of the film in Kerala has been bought for ₹2.25 crore.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Meanwhile, the latest Kunchacko Boban-Rima Kallingal starrer "Chirakodinja Kinavukal" got a slow start and is placed at the fourth position. The release of new movies has also pushed "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" to the fifth postion.</div>
