In the Uttama Villain audio launch yesterday, 1st March, 2015, the audience witnessed a teary eyed Kamal Haasan, who was extremely thankful to his guru, K Balachander for introducing him into cinema.
“You all know that Balachander sir introduced myself and Rajinikanth into cinema. Even if he had not introduced Rajinikanth, he would have acted in Murattu Kaalai and would have gone on to become a star. But in my case it was completely because of him that I am here as Kamal Haasan today. Or else I would have been a different Kamal Haasan doing something else.”
