After releasing to a mixed response from critics and audiences alike, S/O Satyamurthy surprised everyone by collecting some record collections all over. Even the summer season has been helping the film big time. However, the dream run seems to have slowed down since Monday and the collections are taking a beating across the Telugu states.
S/o Satyamurthy is a family entertainer and has been well received by the family audiences. The film doing well at multiplexes and A centres while B and C centres are pretty weak. While the film seems to be trying hard to recover the investments for its distributors in several areas, two more obstacles are lurking to hit its performance at the box office.
This 17th, Lawrence out and out mass masala horror comedy entertainer Ganga and Mani Ratnam's tale of new age romance are releasing much to the sorrow of S/O Satyamurthy. While Ganga will dent S/O Satyamurthy's collections at the B and C centres, Mani Ratnam's breezy romantic entertainer will find immense patronage from A centres, leaving S/O Satyamurthy in a severe roadblock from this 17th. Trade pundits are already predicting that the film may end up collecting anywhere between 42-45 crores.
