Amitabh Bachchan starrer Sarkar become a rage when it released in 2005. Big B’s phenomenal portrayal of Godfather character has left inerasable mark on the audience all over. His real life son Abhishek Bachchan play son character in the film. This movie is termed as one of the feather in the cap of maverick director Ram Gopal Varma.

Later he came up with Sarkar 2, which did not match up to the first part. Sarkar has Katrina Kaif as female lead while its sequel has Aishwarya Rai in a crucial role. Now RGV is believed to be planning Sarkar 3 as the trilogy of the powerful mafia franchise. Bollywood is abuzz with the news that RGV has approached Amitabh with a riveting script for which the superstar has given green signal. If everything goes as planned the film will get on to the sets this year, says sources.
