We have seen '30 years industry' Prithvi as Boiling Star Babloo in 'Loukyam' and MS Narayana as Tsunami Star Subhash in 'Pataas'. Now Brahmi did similar acts in 'Dochay' as Tempting Star Bullet Babu.
In those roles, our star comedians acted as some aged heroes who are unfit for the profession and thereby created fun with their comic acts. Isn't this trend little disgusting and disturbing?
Every time when these Boiling Stars, Rising Stars and Tempting Stars appears on screen, their attire has uncanny resemblance with some of the living senior star heroes. Say it dressing, wigs or walking styles and yelling out punch dialogues, it's nothing but taking dig at one or the other hero. Audiences find it laughable once, but it looks sadistic if the trend continues that way. Being hailing from same film industry, how many times our directors make fun of a hero character, is something left to their conscience.
On a serious note, thrashing some hero character on silver screen is nothing short of cutting the branch on which we are perching. It's better if stopped.
