For audiences who are accustomed to watching masala flicks, how come a lecture about respecting father and talking about values will excite? As critics felt that way, Allu Arjun's "S/o Satyamurthy" stunned at box office as cinema lovers loved it like anything else. If this is the case of Telugu audiences, then what should be the case of more intelligent audience of Malayalam? They should literally worship the flick know.
Surprisingly the Malayalam version of "S/o Satyamurthy" is heard disappointing the mallu fans of Bunny. Though the flick has good openings and ran well in first three days later the numbers are said to be dropping. Unlike his previous films Julayi (Gajapokkiri in Malyalam), Iddarammayilatho (Romeo and Juliets) and Race Gurram (Lucky), this S/o Satyamurthy is heading for a disastrous result if we have to believe trade circles. Probably we could assess this failure like this.
For Telugu folks, always there are masala movies coming out and S/o Satyamurthy sounded something different as it got some values to teach and preach. But Malayalam audiences have seen such movies umpteen times and for them masala is new. So, they didn't like Bunny's latest flick. What do you say?
