In Tamil, she is a hit actress. In Telugu too, she has a couple of hits, but she hasn’t been able to make it to the top. And in Tamil, all the masala films that she acted in did not work in her favour.
However, just when she was worried about losing ground in Tamil, Anjali got a break with Karthik Subbaraj who had directed films such as Pizza and Jigartanda. The film had Bobby Simha and SJ Surya as lead actors.
So right now, Anjali is busy trying to shed weight and she is hoping that if she manages a hit with this film, then she is sure to hit big time in Tamil industry.
Bobby who acted in Jigartanda got an award for playing villain in the film. So, Anjali too is hopeful that she will get the right break.
