South Superstar Suriya who had the incredible fan following in Tamil and Telugu speaking states was anxiously waiting for the release of Masss (Masssu Engira Masilamani) and Rakshudu on 29th May along with his fans, experienced shock in the form of ban on Masss.
No Need To Worry…! because Masss movie was not banned in Tamil and Telugu speaking states. Masss will release absolutely on the same day and same time as the team mentioned. But, screening of Masss was stopped by Kuwait government by stating that hero character Super Powers which were against their country’s religious beliefs and customs. As per their custom, only God has the powers but not anyone.
Masss was not the only film banned in Kuwait where many of the Tamil people were living. Recently, Legend Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam for religious and terrorist issues, Lawrence Ganga stopped for the horror comedy and the recent release Demonte Colony also stopped, not to screen in Kuwait and other middle east asian countries.
With this, Masss will loose some pretty good collections from Middle East Asian countries where many Tamil migrants work in gulf countries.
