Reason Behind Pawan Kalyan's Beard

With an overgrown beard, Pawan Kalyan looks more like a baba than a cinema star.

Various gossips are doing the rounds regarding the reason behind Pawan’s beard. Some say that a certain episode in Gabbar Singh 2 requires Pawan’s appearance to be like this. But this is unlikely.

The other version is that Pawan is currently doing a ‘deeksha’ for 42 days. Apparently, Pawan’s best buddy Trivikram Srinivas is a devout follower of a swamiji in West Godavari district. This swamiji is believed to have conducted special homams for Trivikram at the time of Attarintiki Daredi and S/o Satyamurthy at which Trivikram was present.

Now Pawan is believed to have undertaken that deeksha on the advice of that particular swamiji. So that’s it folks! Take your pick. Character in Gabbar Singh 2 or a deeksha?
