Balakrishna played a powerful CBI officer role in his recent release Lion. Now, Priyamani is set to don similar character in the upcoming action thriller titled Prathikshanam to be directed by RP Patnaik. The music composer who turned into director with the movie, Broker, will be making this bilingual in both Kannada and Telugu. Priyamani will be the leading lady of this woman centric film. It is produced by Achi Babu under the banner MGM 100 Crore Academy and presented by VNP Tenneti.
The unit had a media interaction on sets today (June 27). Revealing details of the movie, RP Patnaik said that it is a crime-action thriller with political backdrop. He also said that Priyamani will appear as a powerful CBI officer and her action will be highlight of the movie. The film will have no songs but it will have gripping background score, said he. Final leg of shooting will soon be held soon in Hyderabad.
