Tollywood star writers and directors getting 'deeply inspired' and in some cases even copying scenes and storylines from the Hollywood, Korean movies and other world cinema is nothing new. Ever Friday, we see some film or the other deriving its influence heavily from some foreign film. Unfortunately, most of our writers or filmmakers refuse to accept the inspiration, leave alone crediting their sources of inspiration.

But, BVS Ravi, one of the popular writers in Tollywood, has stunned everyone with his candid revelations during the audio launch function of Manchu Vishnu's upcoming action thriller, Dynamite. Speaking on the occasion, BVS Ravi said that he, along with several other writers in Tollywood, do get inspired by watching Hollywood flicks and even borrow certain themes from their films.

While many of his colleagues were in for a slight shock, several others praised the writer's honesty in accepting the truth. BVS Ravi is popular for his association with all the recent Manchu family movies. He is also close to Puri Jagannadh and co-wrote the story of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu and most recently, Megastar Chiranjeevi's prestigious 150th film.
