Story:
Chanti (Naga Anvesh) is a youngster living in a village with his middleclass parents (Naresh and Tulasi). Chanti is happy-go-lucky youngster, just making merry. Naresh works for Chowdary garu (Prakash Raj) and his high profile rich family. Their house is also exactly opposite to Chowdary’s house. Chanti too looks after small works at Chowdary’s house. He also goes along with Chowdary’s goons for solving petty issues in village. Chanti falls in love with Chowdary’s daughter Janaki (Kruthika). He keeps proposing to her but she doesn’t accept or reject. One fine day, Janaki gets engaged to a tough guy from another rich family as sought for her by Chowdary. On the Eve of wedding, Chanti’s friends kidnap Janaki and take them both away to Kerala in a bid to help the lovers. They take shelter with a nice family there. Chowdary sends his goons in search of them. Meanwhile Chanti woos Janaki. Will they get married or will Chowdary find them and bring them back?
Review:
Imagine a bad cook being provided with all good ingredients. What do you expect? A delicious dish or a mess? Well that’s what has happened with this movie. It has got many noted names to it, from cast to crew. It has music by one of the happening music directors, Anup Rubens. Cinematography by ace cameraman Rasool Ellore and the editing is by Pravin Pudi. Directed by G Ram Prasad who earlier gave a super hit like Chirunavvutho. The ensemble cast has Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali, Sapthagiri, Naresh and others. The lead pair too was good as teenage lovers. Naga Anvesh son of producer Krishna Reddy of Sindhura Puvvu fame has acted as child artiste.

Incidentally, both Naga Anvesh and Kruthika have a common point. Guess what? They both played son and daughter to Victory Venkatesh, in different films of course. Remember the kid who blackmails his dad Venkatesh in Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu ? After 20 years he is making debut as hero here. Kruthika played teenage daughter of Venkatesh in his recent blockbuster Drishyam. With these many goodies one would be left wondering what went wrong with the movie. If you think story and screenplay played spoil sport. Yes, they did but there are many occasions where a thin story or a vague screenplay is well handled. They can also be well presented with available glam, music and comedy padding. Well, it is all with the captain.
DIRECTOR LOST ?
The direction is so weak that he seems to be confused or he might have forgotten direction. Any lame person can identify that he has not portrayed what the story is supposed to tell. The scenes don’t deliver on their premise. Mismatch dubbing makes it even worse. TV serials these days are far better made. This movie proves that pouring in money doesn’t make a good movie. The aspiring budding star must come up with creative stuff rather than same old formulaic flicks. Gone are the days of 5 songs , 5 fights films. Telugu cinema has come of age. Young makers are coming up with innovative ideas. Other industries are looking upon us. Such movies are only a blot.
