'My Family Was So Worried About My Diet'

It's common knowledge that actor Prabhas underwent rigorous body transformation to suit his dual roles - Amarendra Baahubali, Shivudu - in his forthcoming magnum opus Baahubali. But what not many know that Prabhas had to maintain strict diet regime to gain or shed his body weight depending on the role and shooting schedule. The Chatrapathi star revealed that he ate only egg whites for over one month for

"During the shooting of action sequences, I'd only taken egg whites as my food for one month. Close shots of Rana and me were being picturised and I was advised to have only egg whites as food. I was okay but my family was so worried about my diet and health. It was tough to convince them," shared Prabhas.

Starring Prabhas, Anushka, Rana and Tamanna in the lead roles, the high-budgeted epic film includes ensemble cast like Nassar, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishna, Sudeep, Adivi Sesh. Directed by Rajamouli, the movie is releasing on July 10 in over 4000 theatres across the globe. The expectations on the film are way too high and it needs to be seen how it's going to take off.
