After a lot of dilly dallying, finally Pawan voted for Kajal Aggarwal for his next Sardaar Gabbar Singh, franchise of blockbuster Gabbar Singh. While several names of heroines have been doing the rounds for a while, producer Sharrath Marar chose to put a full stop to speculations and made an official announcement that it would be Kajal opposite Pawan. In fact, few days ago rumour had it that Pawan was considering to replace Kajal with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, brushing off those rumours aside, Pawan said to have stuck to his previous choice of Kajal.
For the first-time, Pawan and Kajal are teaming up together. Although the duo tried to team up earlier, it didn't work due to dates issues. Kajal will be joining the shoot soon, said an announcement from production house. Already two schedules of the film have been wrapped up. And the third schedule will begin from the first week of September.
Writer-turned-director KS Ravindra alias Bobby, who proved his mettle with Ravi Teja's Power, is wielding the megaphone. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the tunes while Jayanan Vincent is cranking his camera. Pawan's close aide Sharrath is jointly producing the film under Northstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works Pvt Ltd and EROS International.
