Ever since director Gunasekhar registered Pratapa Rudrudu - The Last Emperor title a week ago, several rumors regarding the film's hero did numerous rounds. While some said that Allu Arjun might play the role, some reports even confirmed the film as Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th project. Here's the latest twist in the tale.
Latest buzz says that Superstar Mahesh Babu has been approached to play the titular character, Pratapa Rudrudu, the grandson of Rudhramadevi and the last emperor of the Kakatiya Kingdom. While it is not sure if Mahesh has given his nod to his Okkadu director, fans are eagerly awaiting Mahesh's final decision.
We all know the kind of sensation Okkadu created in the early days of Mahesh's career. The film turned Mahesh into a superstar in Tollywood and he went on to team up with Gunasekhar for Arjun and Sainikudu, both average ventures. While Gunasekhar is readying Rudhramadevi for a grand release this September, a green signal from Mahesh now will surely give the film a great boost.
